Dongargarh - A historical and religious significance

Dongargarh is a popular tourist destination located in the state of Chhattisgarh in central India. It is situated in the Rajnandgaon district and is known for its historical and religious significance, as well as its scenic beauty.




Some of the popular tourist attractions in Dongargarh are:

  1. Maa Bamleshwari Temple - This is the main attraction of Dongargarh and is a famous pilgrimage site dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. The temple is located on a hilltop and can be reached by climbing 1,076 stairs or by a ropeway.
